The rapid growth of online videos, music and games has created a new Internet sin: using it too much.

Another case of false advertising (unlimited internet) and poor customer service (that's some bad publicity in the neighborhood when the competitor comes in). Par for the course for so many businesses any more but especially utilities.

Then they'll be asking "why can't we compete with....(new internet provider that moves into area)?"

ISP: You've got to stop using so much bandwith!
Customer: OK, how much is too much?
ISP: We can't tell you that! Just stop using so much!

I pity the customer service representative who'd have to answer questions related to this. It might go exactly as Garnet mentioned.

I've always hated people in upper echelons of management, especially the one's in tech companies. Most of them are in charge of managing things about which they know nothing. Like Ted Stevens and clogged series of tubes.

When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
