Yes, but you see, it's only non-catholics, particularly IGNORANT ATHEISTS that are insisting that the Pope is saying that the Catholic church is the only way to salvation.

At least, that's what I was told by a staunch Catholic on another forum. This is NOT an indictment of other churches and the Catholic church is TOLERANT of other religions. THE POPE NEVER SAID THAT THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION!!!!! GET IT????

Well, he has to say that, now doesn't he? Catholics are dropping out like flies, have been for decades. The only increase in membership is in the poor Latin countries, and I suspect that they are starting to lose some of them, too.
