Child's homework drawing

The picture above was supposedly drawn by a child* intending to depict her mother working at a hardware store selling the very last snow shovel, with the customers engaging in a bidding war. But you know what it looks like.

* I suspect the whole thing is BS. Since when does a small child write that legibly or draw stick figures that uniformly (or well) with such straight lines? This is going around the internet now with several different versions of a letter supposedly sent by the parent to the teacher explaining the hardware store scenario; it will probably be on snopes before long. Oh well, it still made me laugh.
