We made it to the zoo a few days before my surgery. I don't know if these count as natural, but it's all I have.

In the butterfly house

Bald eagle

This was too cute. Polar bear sleeping with his security tire.

My favorite - I just love the primates!

Found this one living in my garden. I have no idea what it is, but it's really pretty, about three inches long, and eats lots of bugs. I was afraid it wouldn't make it through the pouring rain we've had, but it's hanging on pretty tight. If you get too close to it (like to take its picture) it starts bouncing up and down and shaking its web back and forth. Pretty cool.

I knew someone was going to say that. I looked it up. It's a Black & Yellow Argiope. He's harmless. He can bite, but it's not serious.

You said it sister. I had to avoid this page all yesterday until more people posted and I could scroll by without stopping.

I don't want to post them all here, but I've got quite a few natural photography photos on my panoramio account.

Have decorated a bit halloween-like already

Beautiful pics Terry!

I especially like the one with the sun coming through the trees.

I did a little Halloween decorating myself.

I haven't taken any of my indoor display on my mantel, but this year I have bleeding candles! Very kewl.

Spider double feature:

Storing its meal

Spinning its web

Sorry about the lack of editing. Two different spiders, btw.

We had a bit of a winter storm here last weekend. Six inches of snow and almost everything shuts down (I'd like to thank the managers and staff at the Barnes and Noble and Krispy Kreme Donuts).

Spoiler:
It's a camera trick. The flagpole is about fifty feet behind the lighthouse and the lighthouse is only about eight feet tall.

And me making my way to the Krispy Kreme Donuts during a break in the snow:

I forgot to add this one:

I like the texture of the ice against that of the weathered wood.
