Default Natural Photography thread

Post your pics here, if you want. It's sort of my new hobby and perhaps someone else shares it. So, here it is.

From landscapes to animals. I'll start.

I've got a bigger version of the first one, with better detail so if anyone asks I'll post.

I've got more of the frog and other beasties, but what do you think of these?

Oooooo! This is great. Good pix, Fizzle! I can only put in old pix of mine, since it's winter, frozen and bloody cold here at the moment, but will put in some soon.

I don't have any pics of creatures, but here's a nice shot from a trip I took to New Mexico recently

Pescadero Beach State Park - It's about halfway between San Francisco and Santa Cruz.

Oh, and be careful with the photography hobby. It has a way of emptying your bank account.

I can't remember the name of this volcano, but we sat out on the front porch all night getting lit watching it spew lava into the air.

Thank heavens for digital photography; the savings are huge.

Lenses still cost much the same, i.e. lots and lots and lots; but with no costs for developing, no need to digitilise slides and negs for storage / archiving / web, and with printing-on-demand easily available over the net, the savings are tremendous.

Love the cat, she looks just like mine, once you add another 5#.

I'm going to have to spend a lot of time playing with my camera next summer, none of my pics ever turn out as well as the one in this thread have.

Kewl Josie This cat doesn't have a collar around its neck. Its a stray cat. Actually we have several strays. Most people in my neighbourhood are cat-friendly. We pamper any cat that moves here.

This is a pic I took of her a couple of weeks ago, I can't get her to get up and play right now, she has gotten very lazy lately. She even has that little puff of white, at the tip of the tail. And no, she isn't just very fluffy, she only has medium length hair, she is just that fat.

Her as an active kitten, the colors and markings are very similar to your stray.
