I'm pretty sure my newbie post will not cause the world to become a better place, but anyway..

Been mostly a lurker on IIDB, with the occasional random posting thrown in now and then.

Firm unbeliever in gods, firm believer in science.

Originally from Sweden, now living in the US.

Left/liberal leaning in general. Consider both dems and repubs to be somewhat nuts, but dems to be the ever so slightly less evil of the two. I've heard rumors of a 3rd party, but until I see evidence, I put that in the same category as fairies, gods and leprechauns.

The Daily Show and The Colbert Report rocks.

TDS and TCR are the bomb, and I've been in the audience for each show. Was hoping to make it a yearly occurence, but that hasn't happened unfortunately.

Value voters... Wish it didn't imply (to me) herd mentality. Sorry if I offend any sheep with this statement.
