Whenever I order books online, I usually need a few more $$ to make free deliver or a coupon deal or whatever so I hit the clearance section. Sometimes I get some good finds and I thought I'd review the latest crop.

I've been having trouble eating for about a year now. It seems there was a constriction in my esophagus due to the effects of acid reflux over time. Today I had the thingie where they put the scope down, check things out and widen the tunnel. Had another screening procedure so I hadn't eaten for > 24 hours.
I'm trying to make up for it. Also hoping to be able to eat more as soon as the soreness goes away. All your food belongs to me.

I finally snagged a photo of my daughter and her date before Prom. Found her MySpace and linked to her boyfriend's and he had one. So, for anyone on HH interested - it's now in the gallery.
One determined (and sneaky) mom.

My daughter just flew in here after school, while her boyfriend waited in the car for her as they had to go return a movie. She stopped by not just to tell me where they were going, but she had to put a long stem red rose in a vase with water. It seems that they were eating lunch at Wendy's today along with a girlfriend of hers and the BF disappears for a bit. He comes back with a rose for her. No special reason.

It's been really frustrating dealing with the IS department at work (supposedly the real geeks). Wednesday afternoon, a bogus entry was sent in our pharmacy software used to map bar codes. It seemed to have been sent by a nursing unit. Off to investigate. Indeed, our software seems to be on their PDA when it shouldn't. So I called IS to ask them how to remove it. They don't know how to remove software from the PDA's, I'll have to figure it out myself.

Hee, hee. I numbered the title because that might be used many times. I just finished 4 days working in a row. Studied my eyelids for about an hour and a half after I got home. I was too tired to go out to eat with the rest of them so enjoyed a frozen dinner. (Saved myself a little money at least since they had to have expensive meals.)

I picked up the kids from Sylvan and we went to Applebees for lunch. The odd thing was, we had a pleasant meal; congenial conversation. They didn't fight. 
I got 2 calls from work during lunch asking me how to re-activate a de-activated drug entry in the computer. They did it! Did the usual laundry, dishes and bill paying at home.

I have no idea how to set up this thing, so I'll start with an entry, fumble around and see if I can put it together. My goal is to give Slidey someplace to add a comment.
