Hi Rockstar!
Nice to meet you. I was just waking up a couple of 14 year old a minute ago. I don't think I was successful. Didn't work with the 16 year old either. LOL.
Anyway, welcome to HH. I think this is some kind of record - 3 generations.

It's alright, she is going to stay in the public forum so you can carry the title on into the private area when the time is right.:) She also doesn't have the privaledge of bad language since her grandman and mom are here.

All these these restrictions. Jeez! Poor girl! I'm just glad my parents and grandparents aren't here. They'd want to kill me, if they knew me half as well as they think they do. My dad is Lutheran and my stepmom is Catholic, and both are very religious.

Tell me about it. I had to be at the nursing home today to volunteer by one, and I slept in until twelve.

Ooh, shit... no bad language priveleges?
Swearing is what teenagers do best, until they realize they get no attention and grow out of it as depicted by Atticus in the literary, and amazing, book To Kill a Mockingbird.

easy to do on internet, but when someone actually says it to you is when you have to bluff harder, well i don't know about other people but when I hear a word I don't know I have a confused look on my face.

At that stage, simply scream,
"I am a marmoset!"
very loudly. This always works for me, and people always forget what I was bluffing about.
Sweet Satyr
23-Jun-2006, 05:34 AM (05:34)
Then you might have to explain what a marmoset is, though.
Isn't that a type of ebola? If so, shouting that you are one.... Probably not a good idea in public.

Certainly not! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marmoset) I am shocked! Shocked!

Oh, I dunno; you lack imagination. :pirateP Personally I've always found talking very loudly about my personal leprosy infection to be very good for securing my personal space and a seat on crowded buses and trains.

Hey Rockstar :-)
As for confusing a marmoset with a virus?!! Well I never. Wouldn't fancy a marmoset invading my cells (not that I fancy ebola either mind you!!) Plus they are very cute, so there!

I remember being asked to play it in pre-school, and getting angry because I didn't want to communicate with my peers.

I bet you remember it well, as preschool was only a few years ago, for you. ;-)
If I went back to preschool memories, it would be 29 years ago. Gawd, I'm getting old!

You are using Firefox, so go here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/735/ and get Answers. I use it quite a bit for something I don't understand. You can use it on the fly, it will open up a new tab for the answer, so you don't even have to leave the page you are reading. Quite handy for bluffing your way through conversation and then you've learned it for next time!
And welcome to HH. Now all we need to do (or not) is get Me-Maw on here and we'd have four generations of Heathens.

Well, now that we've already spoken in other threads as well as by PM, I suppose I ought to come here and give you a proper welcome to the HH, rockstar!
Judging by pics of your mom and grandma, I'm going to assume that that's a real picture of you in your avatar. Yes?
I now know something about pygmy marmosets thanks to my son's exploration of the Nick Jr. website (the Diego section). I came in to see what he was doing on the computer one day and he started telling me about the pygmy marmoset.
