What's happening

Just a quick note to let you all know what's happening:

Yes, (many) more skins are on the way. They're pretty much finished (in the test board), it's just that I wanted to organise a couple of new hacks first, but the new skins will be imported very soon.

Yes, certain things (like the new button for embedding videos) appear only in the New Usual skin as yet; I have to edit the other skins to incorporate such new hacks. I am doing so as quickly as possible.

I have to re-organise a little the ordering of the buttons / links in the navbar (the top navigational bar), but these are only small changes.

The editing of the Totally Neutral 3 skin to remove the Reply Smiley Box, the Reply Post Icons Box, and to remove the appearence in that skin of all avatars except Disgracian's (which will only appear to Disgracian), and likewise the appearance of all sigs in that skin, will be done soon.

I haven't forgotten whatever it was I was supposed to remember and do. It's just delayed.

I'm not going mad, it only looks that way.

Actually, that is exactly what I am doing.

Why?

Because I CAN.

And because it's fun --- the coding bit.

Only your avatar will be displayed, and it will only be displayed to you and to me personally (when you are logged in, otherwise again no avatar; to me personally, so I can check it's working as it should).

I've been bitten by the coding bug too, so I share the madness, only I'm not very good at it yet. I'm still having difficulty generating my uni timetable as a standards & accessibility compliant HTML table. I was doing okay until I used the rowspan attribute for 2-hour lectures.

Let me give a little unsolicited advice with regards to updating stuff on the server. I have recently figured out a way to unzip files directly to on the server instead of uploading them individually (fuckin' painful). If you decide to upload lots of skins, it would be really beneficial if you use a php unzip script. I'm pretty certain you already know of this, but just in case you need to know the script, I can send one that I wrote last week that's pretty short and well commented.
