Hey Smilin.
Well given the cross-forum friction, it's not too suprirsing that I'd drop by here.
I'm doing well, still posting instead of working. Just came back from vacation in Disney World a couple of weeks ago. Loved it, had a great time.
I want to live there.

Yeah, it's pretty ugly right now, huh? There were a couple of things said over there that chapped my ass, but I've decided to sit out this round. I do wish that folks from either 'side' wouldn't insult a whole board worth of folks out of raw prejudice, though. There's an awful lot of false accusations being tossed around.
Eh, keeps the blood bubbling I suppose.

I'm certainly guilty of engaging in the brouhaha now and again, I am willing to admit it and have no real regrets over it.
I've come to the conclusion that my issue is with specific posts and posters and certainly not any type of forum-level prejudice.
That being said, I'd much rather just set the friction aside for now. Figure I'd spend some time here as it's been a while.

The three above posts split off from this Intro thread here (http://www.heathen-hangout.com/forum1/showthread.php?t=6132), given content, potential and it being an Intro thread

Thanks, Gurdur. I felt a bit bad about my post, but I figured the subject had already come up anyway.
And you know me, I gotta get my .02 in. ;-)

Personally, I don't blame you at all. Not one bit.
In any case, I don't see any great deal in simply splitting it all off into a new thread. Splitting Ã*s a very small thing, and enables people to carry on as they want to.

I don't think anyone wants to keep this going, though. There's no use in dredging up muck when one is trying to make new friends. The whole bru-ha-ha has nothing to do with elder or I that I know of. I was just commenting on how ugly things were, to kinda break the ice.

I've certainly got nothing left to add, other than this, which is really nothing at all.

Well, I've got nothing either. *sigh* Guess it's the end. ;)

I agree with Garnet.
